Arête des Cosmiques AD, 4a. One of Chamonix classics, it is located at between 3550-3842m and is a really airy trip with nice climbing and powerful views, can be very busy in summer and I think you should preferably do it in winter.
We had a clear and nice day, the snow was hard and the conditions were absolutely perfect, fingers and toes disappeared halfway into the climb, mostly because of the wind which was really icy and sometimes you stand still for periods because we descend one at a time in two different places and right there we were very exposed to the icy wind but later we managed to move a little faster and get the pulse up a bit and thus also the heat.
When you are out in places like this where a few mistakes can make you stay several hours longer than intended, it is incredibly important to be able to move smoothly and efficiently and ideally you want to be as light as possible but at the same time carry as much as possible to be able to handle many different situations.
Ultralight backpack 50 is perfect for so many different types of adventures and suits climbs like this perfectly, even longer ones with 1 or two overnight stays. My favorite thing is the outer pockets that can hold basically anything you want easily accessible but also the roll closure that allows it to basically be a 30L bag if you do not have more with you but that it holds so much more if you need it, then of course it is the weight, love that it is featherweight. I had a paraglider + harness, and a lot of other things in it in the pictures, no problem.
