2018-2025.

This journey is coming to an end. We are closing down Vindla.
Last year, I reunited with an old friend for the first time in 11 years. He reminded me of the moment back in 2013 when I first shared the idea of Norra & Vindla with him. It took nearly six years before the very first product launched in 2019. Now, another six years later, the brand has grown into a beloved collection—not just of clothing, but also backpacks.
The vision has always been clear: to transparently develop and manufacture well designed outdoor products. Products crafted to stand the test of time, unaffected by quick changing trends.
The support over the years has been overwhelming. Seeing where you’ve taken our products—on countless adventures across so many countries—has been truly mind-blowing.
And all the help we have gotten from suppliers, colleagues, friends and family, from the bottom of our hearts we are extremely thank full. This would not have been possible with out you.
Challenges and uncertainties have been piling up, making it increasingly difficult to stay true to our original vision. And competing with industry giants is not easy - but we gave it our all. And along the way, together with you, have we created some truly great products.
Thanks for all
Jacob & team Vindla
Norra is now Vindla.
This journey started a little more than five years ago. We wanted to challenge, test new ways and make products. Products that make you go out, out on adventures.
We chose to name the journey Norra (the north in Swedish) and it has been a direction that has made us pass many exciting places. But some people thought it was too crowded in that North direction and we have come to the conclusion that it is best to change our name. Besides that, we have realized that you miss a lot of things when you constantly look to the north. Now we let everyone else on that path to the north continue by themselves and we choose to look around instead.
Ultra lightweight Backpack.
This is our ultra light pack that is loaded with features and designed to work not only for hiking but it can also become your go-to pack for all kinds of outdoor adventures. From summer hikes to winter noridc ice skating.
The volume makes it large enough for a few days to a week on the trail. Compress it and it works for that 1-day adventure too.
Field notes.
One part of our process is product testing and in our field notes we share the lovely people, stories, and places that we get to know during this process.

Henrik Dahlstedt at Arête des Cosmiques AD, 4a.
Arête des Cosmiques AD, 4a. 21/1 one of Chamonix classics, it is located at between 3550-3842m and is a really airy trip with nice climbing and powerful views, can be very busy in summer and I think you should preferably do it in winter.

Jonas Nordin.
This is Jonas, a seasoned adventurer from Dalarna with years of hiking and trekking behind him, both on shorter and longer expeditions. In the beginning on last summer we got in contact with Jonas and he told us about his summer adventure plans.

ANNA GROS.
This is Anna Gros, a 31-year-old adventurer. One could say that she loves all outdoor activities everything from cycling, kitesurfing, sailing to skiing.
